I’m an English photographer, living in Bonn, Germany, with my wife, Sandra.
Photography is my passion, especially when it comes to photographing people. Not just studio portraits, but any kind of people photography. I love watching through the viewfinder with baited breath, until the perfect moment. Through my photographs I want to say something about who or what I shot and why.
I get a lot of pleasure from teaching people, too. There isn’t much that’s more satisfying than having somebody suddenly light up as they finally understand something they’ve struggled with. As well as training many individuals and private groups, I have provided training for United Nations Volunteers and United Nations University.
I also shoot conferences and corporate events, the largest of which was the United Nations IHDP Open Meeting 2009, for which I was the official photographer for the entire four days.
I’m a Nikon Professional and primarily use the outstanding Nikon Capture NX2, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 and Adobe Photoshop CS4 for my editing work.
